An international family living in Moscow is looking for a well-qualified, personable and experienced Governess/Personal Tutor to prepare their 9 year old son and 7 year old daughter for future admission to London independent schools.  The ability to inspire young learners and support their personal and academic development through a wide range of subjects and activities is essential. 

As both children are in full-time education during term-time, tutoring will take place after school each weekday and at the weekend, on a Sunday.  During school holidays, when accompanying the family to South of France/beyond, the pattern of the working week will be adjusted accordingly. Contract details:

We are currently seeking applications from experienced Primary Headteachers/Deputy Headteachers who have at least a good working knowledge of the PYP curriculum and who would be available to start in Sept 2017

As Head of Primary (PYP)  in this small but growing international school, you will have responsibility for the leadership and management of Yrs 2 - 6. At present, the school is one-form entry and classes average 12 - 16 pupils.  The Early Years curriculum is influenced by Montessori principles and the  EY department is led by an experienced Montessorian who speaks English and French.

The ideal candidate for the Head of Primary will be familiar with the challenges of working in a relatively new international school ( founded 2013) and the drive to establish its place in the locale. The new Head will be prepared to carry the dual responsibilities of Primary Head and Curriculum Co-ordinator. Over time, as you help to grow the school there will be separation of these two roles but this would not be appropriate at this stage.

Given that the school is a bi-lingual English /French school (KG-12) , a candidate who has a good level of competency in French would be preferred (bi-lingual fluency would be a real bonus). Previous experience of living and working in Africa would also be an advantage.
